School Based Community Services
Manterfly provides evidence based programs on site to a group of six to ten youth of similar age and development. The sessions are facilitated by trained facilitators for a period of 1.5 to 2 hours. Sessions are held for eight weeks or more, depending on the need of the partnering agency. The groups are provided on our location, in schools, community centers, afterschool facilities, group homes, and churches.
The Breaking Cycles program is a school based program currently operating out of 8 public schools in the city of Richmond. Breaking Cycles focuses on breaking the negative cycle of incarceration that effect many of our communities. The groups are organized by grade level and include critical thinking skills, conflict resolution, character development and case management.
